The EU Battery Passport will become an important information carrier for relevant battery categories to enter the EU market. At this stage, product identity, responsible entities, performance safety and supply chain information should be included in project data management first.
It is recommended to create three types of data
- Product identity: Model, version, QR code/identification strategy, manufacturer and market entity information should be consistent.
- Testing & Performance: Safety, shipping, performance, durability and legacy reports are traceably indexed by model difference.
- Supply chain information: Sort out information on key materials, responsible entities, maintenance, reuse and recycling in advance.
Customer next step
First complete the confirmation of battery type and target market, sort out the existing UN38.3, MSDS, IEC/UL reports and model differences, and then plan the testing, information and subsequent registration rhythm.
